Anyone have experience with zoysia grass?

When we moved into the house where we're at, zoysia grass was planted on 1 side of the front yard. (It's divided by a walkway). I love the zoysia grass, and am seriously considering doing the other half.

Any tips on this would be appreciated.

Zoysia grass tends to grow dense, choking out weeds, which is a plus.  However, it is the last grass to turn green in the spring and is unsightly for quite a while.  So if you can stand that, it might be worth the wait for greener grass.  Hope this helps:)
