Anyone know NaClO + KI --------- ?

The products names will be sufficient, I can figure out the coefficients. DON"T tell me to google it, google is the most hideous, pathetic thing that has ever been invented as far as finding specific items goes

  1. The NaClO will oxidize the KI to make iodine and sodium, potassium, and chloride ions.  This reaction will probably need to occur in acidic solution (add H+ when balancing, and balance as a redox reaction).

    Now -- I have a feeling it must be a displacement reaction Try:

    NaCIO + KI > NaI + KClO
