Am I just being thick - but how do you increase the fan speed?

Also, I am using ASUS PC Probe - and it picks up the RPM of my CPU fan, as it's attached to the motherboard, however the other fans it picks up as 0. How do I get these case fans to appear in ASUS PC Probe? They are just connected via molex connectors to the main PSU.

  1. If you want your all your fan be monitored, replace your fans with the one which can be connected to your motherboard. it has 3 wires usually red, black and yellow. the yellow is for your fan speed monitoring... usual fan with black and red wires cannot be monitored. fan speed sensors are usually not attached on the PSU but rather on the mother board

  2. They have to be connected to the main board via a sys fan connector. A molex is from the PSU and the main board won't see it.
