Anyone used Banjo Minnow Fishing System?

Question

My fiance saw a info commercial for the Banjo Minnow fishing system and he wants it now!

So i was just wondering if anyone used it and could share their experience with it. Good and bad?

I nearly landed a 16" bass on one I got like 8 yrs ago. I would have landed it if someone had got the net to me sooner (I was on the shore of a lake-pond thing and needed a net to keep them from dragging on the shallow bottom) : )

They still sell that thing???  My brother bought one about 15 years ago.  From what I remember it worked pretty well fishing in Lake Powell for Stripers and lake fishing for Rainbow Trout back home in  Colorado.

Honestly, It works and doesn't work... If you use it in swampy/muddy water the fish most likely will not go for it, but it does work affectively in clear water. Another thing is that you MUST watch the instructional video, it shows you the wrist movements on how to use it. So if he is expecting to use it in clear water, then yes, get it, it will most likely work!!!!
