Anyone who uses uTorrent 1.8?

Question

know how to adjust the bandwidth settings for FASTER downloads?the fastest I can get it is at 30-58 kb's

My connection is cable...128kb's I think (not sure)

My lil brother & I are like in competition.....he has his kicking *** at like 140kb's,& it's p**s'n me off! lol........

if your port isnt forwarded properly use the speed guide to test the port. (options, speed guide) if it is not forwarded properly it will give you a guide on how to do it right. if the port is not the problem it is probably the torrent you are trying to download.  in that case download a different one

UTorrent measures its download speed in kilobytes (kB) not kilobits (kb). when an ISP sells you a package, they advertise for it in kilobits per second (kbps) so that the number appears higher and faster. there are 8 kilobits in a kilobyte, so I would imagine that you are getting a faster download connection then you are paying for if you get 30-58kBps

Check whether u have forwadded the prot, if not forward it..

It automatically downloads as fast as it can... It only goes slower if you cap it off somewhere. I could be wrong but somehow I think I am not.

its not depend on network, its depend on how many seeder you are connected. more seeder less leecher will obtain great speed.
