Anyone with Doula experiences?

Hi everyone! :) I'm trying to decide if having a Doula would be the best thing during labor & delivery. What were some of your experiences w/ Doulas? I'd like to know!

Do your research!  Make sure you find one you and your husband both like and feel comfortable with. You want to make sure that she is there for you but that your husband doesn't feel pushed out of the way at all.

If you can find one who works for both of you then go for it!! They are a ton of help!

My Mom went through partial doula training to help me while I was giving birth, but I found the hospital midwife to be far more helpful. All I really needed was help with breathing.
