Anyone work at IHOP?

Anyone ever work or currently working at IHOP? What's the enviroment like? Hours? Pay, do you make good tips, what's an average week like? Thanks for any info.

I used to know people that worked there and they didn't like it. They would always get mad cuz I worked at a bar and would make between twice and three times as much as them a shift, purely from selling alcohol, which IHOP obviously doesn't have. The good part, I would think, is that you don't have to stay late like you would at a bar.

Ihop is a good gig. Just be careful you dont get caught using pancakes to keep your pork stick warm. they frown upon that

I worked at a IHOP for a few years in Florida. The pay was 2.13 hr plus tips. You will most likely work an 8 hr shift 7-3, 3-11, 11-7. I made about 50-75 a night on the dinner shift 3-11. It was ok, it was quick money. The kitchen in all the ones I have worked in are gross, so I won't eat at one now. But while working there we did get a 50% discount if we had a meal during our shift. Hope this helps...
