Anything else for horse arthritis?

ok so i have pretty much done alot since i have found out about my horses arthritis.and he is a jumper and he loves it i hope to have him jumping agian 2 or 3 weeks after being lame stops. but i want to do more for him to make him happy...it does not matter what the price is because its my horse and i do anything for him. he is a 9 year old and is 17.2 hh and maybe a little higher.

but anyways here is a list of things that have been done or are going to be done in the next 2 days.

-joint supplements(((Total joint care)))

-all 4 feet shoed

-injections

-spoiled by everyone lol!

if u have anything else you know of tell me...dont forget i dont care about the prices this is my boy.

  1. Constant excersise. He needs his joints moving. And try to keep him in a pasture, so he moves, not in a stall. He needs to be flexible and you don't want his legs to tense up.


  2. There is a product in Australia called Penetrene.  Great for arthritis in horses.  I don't know if it is available everywhere.  Try your vet or animal feed store.
