Apartments in Venice?

Question

Im looking to rent an apartment in Venice for a few days this July for myself and my girlfriend. Does anyone have any good suggestions or any website to try that have cheap apartments for 2 people ?

Venezia (Venice) demands a premium, particularly at the height of the tourist season, although it is possible to find somewhere particularly if you get away from Piazza San Marco. It isn't possible to stay on nearby islands although if you're driving there is a camping ground just outside Venice. Excursions to the surrounding areas can be very rewarding. The City of Water may be less than fragrant in the heat of summer.

Folks usually rent apartments for a week at a time. Look at the web sites for B&B's.... or check out the Foresteria Levi (they have an on line site).
