Apprehensive about taking higher education abroad?

Question

I am a graduate working with an IT services firm in India. I planned to do my higher education from europe, but now when i got the admit I am apprehensive, the first for leaving India esp my family. I am so confused.

u have to go.....u shud see ur future.....

u knw what i'm in usa for studying i can understand ur pain...and feelings but trust me u'll miss them for like 1 month or 2 months atleast but then everythign will be fine and u'll enjoy living there.....and u knw wat noe i don't wanna come back to india.......and here in usa i'm living with my parents......i use to miss my relatives a,lot in starting but not now......so juz chilL!!!!!!

Go for it...

It will be difficult initially esp in a new country and if u are left to urself with no one previously known to u...but u can always get help/make new friends and adjust to ur environment quickly ....

About leaving ur family..u r only gonna be away from them for a year or two and technology has improved to so much that u would not really miss them (u can talk and see them without spending money..courtesy..webcam and google talk/yahoo messenger)..though u might not see them in person...

Getting an admit from good universities are little difficult these days..if u have the admit do not let go of it- grab it and believe me u will never regret it :)

get over foolish emotions and go for it if u truly want to do it. dunno if u r a girl or a guy but either ways how long are u going to be a cry-baby hiding behind ur parents? u r old enough to take care of urself and u r old enough for ur family to let u go make ur own future.

Spread your wings like a butterfly, reach for your dreams I know it would be hard leaving your family behind but you have a life that you must pursuit without your loving family they will always be there for you no matter what you decide to do in life just make this one count for you. GO FOR IT! REACH FOR THE STARS!
