hi there's no rules anymore. I'm 5ft 2 and i vary my skis day to day. I love my 160s but sometimes i want the fun of blades and sometimes inbetween! You learn different techniques that way. I just love skiing!

Your skies should be as about tall as your chin.

It depends on your height, weight, and ability as a skier.

Check out a very good ski shop and they will be able to match your skis, boots, bindings, and poles to you.

This is very important as poorly fitted and calibrated equipment can be dangerous to you and those around you, as well as uncomfortable.

Pricing, high or low is not the determining factor, fit, usability, and comfort should be the direction you go.
