Arcsoft totalmedia 3

Question

installed software as instructed in book. tried to scan for channels on dvb-t tv stick ea053715. all i get is an error which reads ( 0x04e8971a referenced memory at 0x058349d0 could not be read ) and so terminates the scan. please help. also on the same subject i cannot uninstall the software out of my pc (totalmedia 3) so i cannot start again
