Armenians are Caucasian, since they come from the Caucasus. They are typically referred to, as "Indo-European", and were the first nation to declare Christianity in 301ad. However, do to wars and Genocide, a lot of Armenians have been dispersed throughout the Middle East, and therefore some of them adhere to Middle Eastern food & culture.

Since Armenia borders the Caucasus Mountains to the south, I would say that they are definitely Caucasoids...

The term Middle Easterners is more of a casual political/religious term, when referring to Semites, Arabs, etc...

Natives of the Middle East are also Caucasian.  Armenia is not part of the middle east and they are considered Caucasian as well.   Please remember that racial divisions are somewhat arbitrary anyway.
