Are Spanakopitas good?

Question

i recently saw them on a menu as an appetizer at a middle eastern restaurant. was a little reluctant to try them then... so i ended up buying some frozen ones from trader joe's.. so are they good?

I like them.  My sister likes the ones I make and when I can't come over to make them she gets them from Trader Joe's.

I have had good ones and I have had bad ones. You have to eat them fresh because they can get soggy.

When I make them I can control the amount  of butter and other ingredients that I put into them.

They are pretty easy to make so you should try to make them yourself.

it depends if you like dough-y kinds of things and a little more fancy greek foods.

ex: feta, spinach, things like that.

Yes, they are fantastic!!

It is basically spinach and feta cheese(or goat cheese or something) wrapped in phyllo dough.

I love them.

Even if they sound a little different to you, try them. Most people enjoy them.

Ive only ever had them in restuarants and yes they are good.

Theyre a little dry, so you may want to try requesting tziki (spelling, sorry) to dip it in.

if you like feta cheese, spinach, onion, garlic and fillo dough you should enjoy them
