Question:

Are Yahoo! employees psychic?

The reason that 360˚ is now so buggy that it's virtually useless is that Yahoo! foresaw more than 6 months ago that they would be the victims of a hostile takeover by Microsoft. That's why they've been content to let things slide so badly and shake their users' confidence to the core.

Do you think that after the inevitable downsizing or extinction of Yahoo! Inc, these guys would be able to make a decent living with Tarot cards or fortune-telling, maybe?

  1. Why the heck is everyone in a tizzy over this MS/Yahoo thing?  Who the heck cares???  Stop already!!! It's not even definite yet.  It's business... it happens to the best of businesses.  The reason 360 is buggy has NOTHING to do with a business deal.  There are web masters. The technology that makes it all work can have glitches.  I'd be more concerned if there weren't problems now and then.  If it were all perfect ALL the time, millions of people would be without jobs, and technical degrees would be thrown out the window.  But to relate the problems on a web site to a possible business deal is ridiculous.  This site shouldn't be all that important in the overall scheme of things in your real life.  If it is... time to rethink your priorities.

  2. Uh yeah.

  3. LOL! This is not the first time that Microsoft has proposed to buy Yahoo. Obviously, they were refused the last time.

No, Yahoo!360 is a "beta" service (in testing) and was buggy prior to 6 months ago. So, this is the risk of using a beta service. It's gotten worse in the last 6 months simply because they've stopped "trying" to maintain the service. Yahoo! Mash (another social networking product) is in beta too.

Those guys won't need to make a decent living anyway. They've already made their money... no doubt about that.
