six because if you go down the line the first guy shakes with everyone(3). the second guy doesnt shake with the first cus they already shaked hands so thats (3+2=5) the thrid guy shaked hands with both firs and second so he only has to shake with the fourth.(5+1=6) the last guy doesnt have to shake with anyone cus he already shaked with everyone
