  1. Safer then cars

  2. yes

  3. Very much so.

I have been working in the aerospace industry for about 10 years, let me tell you...

Our parts can be rejected if they are as little as .0002 of an inch out of print.

To put it in perspective, a sheet of normal copy paper measures about .004 of an inch thick.

We all know how serious this business is and we do not take any chances. EVERY single part has a paper trail and if one fails, the FAA can track it down to who made it, what time it was made, what supply house did the material come from, etc...

I'm not saying everything is perfect, but the chances are extremely slim, especially now that the airline industry has learned what was causing so many accidents 20 years ago.

  4. safest way 2 travel according to statistics

  5. Not Absolutely Safe.

    They are prone to accidents,

That can't be avoided by human intelligence.

Saying so, it may not be more unsafe than walking on a busy street, people driving cars with loads of pressure in their heads. As the skies are not as cramped as the streets are. And there are not as many hasty minds playing around in the skies. And there is not as much conflict in the skies as there is on the roads, at least for now.

More People die every year in road accidents, then in the skies.

  6. Yes.

  7. Yes, a plane is safer than a car or any other transportation but.. if you really dont want to i think a car would be #2 just think about it not many planes crash they just say they do but again go with your gut  :  )

p.s a plane can be cool if its a small flight (3- hours or so) a long one (8 - 24....) Not so fun but hey its up to you
