Question:

Are continental touringcontact as tires directional?

Ok, so my mother has a nissan altima and she has the continental touring contact as tires. I want to rotate her tires but am not sure if they are directional. The owners guide says to bring the fronts straight back and the rears straight forward, but I feel this is not as good as criss-crossing the fronts when I move them to the rear. I have an accord and I know my car has directional tires so I had no choice but to rotate them a certain way and I just think the wear patterns are not as good as previous cars I had where I criss-crossed the fronts to back. Anyway, all I need to know is if these tires are directional or non-directional so I can get this done.

  1. The Continental tires are not directional, but the new standard of rotating tires from the automotive manufactures is from front to back. Hope this helps
