Are fedora hats in style? ?

Like the ones Indiana Jones wears. What should I wear them with?

I think they only look good on either older men like 40-50 or if you're outside like a geologist :) I think if you just wore it around the city it would probably look silly though. A brown one that is. A black one would look good around the city with a suit.

Fedoras have always remained in fashion, thing is the number of people that think they do has diminished. Me, I love 'em! It's what I wear 95% of the time. I do hate how some people seem to think that celebrities have brought them back to the forefront though. Personally I think they all look like @#%$ more than half the time, but if I had to mention Hollywood and fedora in the same sentence, it would include, Cagney, Bogart and Robinson.

Fedora hats are making a comeback with the hipster crowd...just look at pictures of Samantha Ronson :) except the hats she wears are a little different than the ones Indiana Jones wears.

Not sure whether I would follow that trend... personally I HATE them and think they look really goofy... unless you're some hot young musician wearing skinny jeans, not many other people can pull it off.

ive been seeing them around lately.

I have my grandfathers old fedora that he used to wear in the 50's , so when it gets cold im gonna wear it.

Yeah, they've become very retro lately, but it doesn't really matter what is in style or not.

I bought our son (who's 22) a terrific fedora for his birthday. (I recommend the VillageHatShop.com.) He wears it with anything nicer than Levi's and a T shirt, as the mood strikes him. The plan is to wear it with his trenchcoat in sprint and fall, his wool naval officer's coat in winter. Now, it's warm enough that a felt hat is a bit much.

yep old school fashion, well smart clothing a v-knecked sweater, shirt and waistcoat etc or just a simple white tshrit under a jacket/blazer :)

I sell many hats. Guys that wear hats always wear hats it is sort of like the guy who dresses in all black it represents your character. There are tons of different styles out there a new one for each season and day basically. So be creative it is definitely a cool accessory. Wear what ever with it. I would stick to the advice of avoiding an oxford and leather jacket unless you are going for the indiana look . Check out our site we carry a decent selection for all seasons .

it doesn't matter if they're in style- wear what's cool to you. But if it makes a difference, then I will tell you that they're making a comeback.

Don't wear them with an oxford/button down or you'll look way too much like Indiana. Wear them with a cool band tee or something of the sort, a casual vest, and some jeans. maybe even add in a belt to add to the effect.
