  1. firearms are not allowed in any vehicle.

  2. My company does not allow firearms or other weapons in any of its trucks.

  3. no

  4. 1. it will depend on your state rules.

    2. it will depend on your companies policies.

    3. it will depend on what you are hauling.

  5. if ....you are under federal govt. contract, and hauling anything with govt. manifest papers you can take that gun to church wiyh you. ok poncho.

  6. It depends on the state especially when it comes to crossing state lines.

  7. Generally, the commercial trucker needs a Firearm's Owner Identification Card (or FOIC card) to carry them, and also, warning decals should be placed on the sides and backs of the truck should warn drivers that this truck contains firearms.

Without a FOIC, the trucker can be arrested and charged with firearms trafficking, a felony, if the police stop the truck.

  8. Every state is different, but if you are going to carry one, make sure you have a permit to carry from the state that you are from.

  9. There is no federal law prohibiting it,  and to my knowledge no specific state law denoting the vehicle a person legally carrying a firearm is banned from being in or operating.    Still,  each state can be different,   Canada and Mexico don't allow them across the border at all.

Mostly,  it is company policy and common sense that prohibits drivers from packing.    Liability issues and having to deal with excessive morons that don't know how to drive increase the odds of one being used inappropriately.
