  1. It depends on how you perceive the world.  Either everything is magic or nothing is.

  2. It depends on how you define "real".  What is real to one person may not be real to another, and strongly held beliefs can be real enough to guide one's ability to perceive.

For me, the answer is no. But I do not discount the ability of "magic" to work on or for those who believe very strongly in its existence.

  3. As a magician, I once gave a performance at an elementary school. At the end, as I was waving goodbye to the children, one little 6 year old girl, broke from the ranks, and ran up to me, and said, "My mommy told me that there was no such thing as magic, but NOW I know there is"...

    You decide!

  4. IN MY HEAD THEY ARE AND I DO REALLY HOPE SO.

  5. Magic is something that happens that seems like it shouldn't.

You can make magic by doing something uncommon like walking lightly and away from the sight of someone so that when you come upon them you seem to appear from nowhere.  Good artists know how to use color and shape in order to create effects that trick the eye.  A beautiful sunset can seem like magic (color and shape) or finding money in a Bible in a hotel room (uncommon). So, it has to do with perception and uncommon events.  If you do some thinking you can create magic.  Leave a rose on someone's wind shield.  Send a letter to someone that just says "you are special"  without any identification.  Drive a pink car with a sticker that says "I brake for unicorns".

  6. If you don't understand it then it is magic or might as well be.

    C. :)

  7. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

    Arthur C. Clarke

  8. The words are real.

It's the magic that is delusion.
