  1. I wouldn't think so - and can the thing even fit in there??  I'd just hose it off, like the first person suggested.

  2. You can, as long as you do it at as low a temperature as possible, on as short a time as possible. Choose a delicates setting if you have one.  And whatever you do, don't spin it dry! It will dry outside jsut fine.

Don't put washing powder in.  You can add waterproofing stuff such as TX10, follow the instructions.

Make sure any rubbers or guy ropes are safely tucked in.

It's a good idea to do it in a laundrette, if there's a lot of grit in the mud it can wreck your bearings on the machine if the machine is a bit old, but some laundrettes might not like you doing it.

  3. I don't think so...check the label.. but if not what i did with mine was put each section up separately and hose it down... then scrub it with a sponge and some washing up liquid and rinse it again

i then left it out for a day and waited for it to try, that worked for me!

btw that was after Glastonbury so it was very very muddy! hope that helps :)

  4. If it can be washed it will have a label to that effect. If you want to take a chance .... it's your tent. You would of course need to re waterproof it. You can get Fabsil or similar from Millets or Oswald Bailey.
