Are movie stars necessary?

I mean, for our ecosystem. For instance lets compare them to mosquitos: who would damage the world most if they became estinct ??

  1. I think there is such a small number of them, compared to the total human population, that their loss would not really be noticeable ecologically, though perhaps like many other wealthy people, they do have a somewhat larger carbon footprint.  On an individual basis, that's another question.


  2. Which ecosystem?  The loss of a single group of people by profession has happened many time through out human history.  You don't see any wizards or medicine men any more do you?  No great loss.  Humanity would survive just fine without movies stars.

    Fact is they are being replaced by computer generated human look alike.  We simply don't need them.
