  1. You can buy a Vegan version of them at a whole foods store.

  2. This is most certainly not VEGAN. Pop tarts contain artificial colors, flavors, corn syrup and processed sugars and white flour - all of which are complete no nos for a true vegan. The only acceptable thing in a pop tart would be the added vitamins which a true vegan would shun because they are not from the natural original fruit or vegetable source.

  3. NOT!!!

They contain animal fat in the crust and all the emulsifiers in the filling are animal based.

Gelatin (yeah JELLO) is made from the hooves and cartilage of animals. Google it!

  4. they have PIG in every one YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  5. Wow. That's pretty bad when you can't even eat something as simple as a pop tart. Whatever floats your boat, I guess. Just don't get too brainwashed by those PETA morons.

  6. According to the vegcooking website, the following Pop Tarts are suitable for vegans:

    Pop Tarts (Unfrosted Apple Cinnamon)

    Pop Tarts (Unfrosted Blueberry)

Pop Tarts (Unfrosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon)

    Pop Tarts (Unfrosted Strawberry)

    And here's the link:

Yes, the frosting on the outside has gelatin. The filling is cruelty-free.

    Cheers!

  7. Why stop at just looking for animal products on the label? You should be concerned for your own health too. You should be checking out your food and asking yourself is this for my body or is it just for my taste buds? (Like animal products are not needed by the body, but the taste buds want to have meat).

Breakfast is a great start to fuel your body with good things because you have cleansed your body overnight (as much as can be expected depending on how overtaxed your liver is in detoxifying the blood during the night from your ingestion of toxic artificial anything). Even just whole wheat toast/bagel with your favorite jam would be better than a poptart! Wean your taste buds away from processed foods! Look at food like a fuel for your body (what nutrients is in the food you want to put into your body? is it going to keep me healthy in my old age:antioxidants, phytonutrients, dark green leafy things? or am a just a big trash can and have lots of room for toxic things since I am young, but by the time I get to 30 my can will be overflowing?).

  8. I think there is some filtered sugar in there and probably some other animal based or sourced ingredient particularly the crust.  So it's probably not vegan at all with or without icing.

Better to call the company and ask them. I am sure they have been asked before and would have the answer

Gelatin from hooves?? Hahahahahaha.. ? another ignorant post from another propaganda victim
