Are sharpies really bad to smell?

are sharpies really bad to smell? are they really a drug? ive never smelled one like bringing it up to my nose put when you write you can smell it- am i going to get addicted and die!

they are not a drug but they do kill brain cells

As long as you don't sniff them purposefully, you'll be fine. Writing with them is okay, as long as it's not, like, perpetually. They can kill brain cells.
