Are silence snowboards good quality?

Silence is a "low end" snowboard.  For a beginner board it is likely going to be OK if you get a great deal on it.   Since it is so inexpensive you should count on replacing it when you start getting past the beginner stage.

I would definately have to agree with the last answer, they look cool but it would be sad to spend half the money on a mediocre board than to look around and spend a bit more and get a much better material made board.  Trust me, it is worth it, I have been riding for 20 years now and have ridden hundreds of boards.  here are a couple websites that you should check out cause they have a lot of good priced rides on there... if you like the graphics of silence's decks...you might check out boards like never summer, LTD, GNU, Lib Tech.  Ebay and craigslist are a great place to buy boards cause you can basically look at a different manufactures board and then chances are you can find it on ebay for cheaper than anywhere else.  if you have any questions on the materials of certain manufactures or if it is a good brand or not, feel free to email me and i will help out the best of my ability. :)  most of all, get something you will be happy with in the long run cause a board is a big investment and getting one that is right for you can make or break your experience...happy tracks!!
