  1. The Tasmanina devil has been extripated from the Australian mainland with the introduction of the dingo, but is still found throughout Tasmania.

  2. No but they are having massive populations due to health issues.  For some odd reason they are getting massive cancerous tumors (mainly facial) and popluations are being hit hard.  On top of that it is causing major problems with local animal and plant life... not the cancer but the drastic change in population.

What is also scare is they believe that the cancer is spread between devils through bites to the face.  Considering how they can be aggressive and fight with on another I am sure I do not need to tell you how simple it is for one to bite another.  It is not spreading to other animals but they still cannot figure out what is going on.

    Either way, nope, not extinct.

  3. No, but they are highly endangered. It's a shame.

  4. Its not extinct just endangered
