They are not extinct but their descendants are mixed with other races. I don't know if there is such a thing as a full-blooded Aztec anymore.

The humans that made up the Aztecs have descendants living in Mexico. Their language Nahuatl, is still spoken in many areas of Mexico. Parts of their culture remain and have been incorporated into the Mexican culture.
