  1. they need to get there bullpen better, albert well i think there is something wrong since his 300th homerun he hasn't had a homerun. Starting pitching only 1 guy is great lohse but that went away after the bullen blew it away. The only thing good coming out of this season in Bill Dewits mind is the money is stacking up. Remember 2006

  2. Um they are 3 games back I highly doubt they are finished. They were 5.5 games back just a few weeks ago.

  3. Yep. They've got great batters but they really need some pitchers. Other than Kyle Loshe they pretty much have no one.

  4. I hardly think so.

  5. No the Cardinals are comeback team. They still have their best hitters (Pujols, Ludwick, Ankiel, so on) they are getting two of their best pitchers back (Wainright and Carpenter). I have to say that the Cubs are in even bigger slump.

If people say that the Cubs are getting out of the slump cause of Soriano well one person doesn't make a team.

  6. no the cardinals still have albert pujols  and a few other good pitchers  i will admit they are not as good as they used to be but they are still great

  7. Wait a couple weeks and we'll see. Don't forget they still have the 3rd best NL record.

  8. heavens no, there is too much baseball to be played and the cards have a good team. Whether they make the playoffs remains to be seen, but you shouldn't be giving up on them now. You want a team that IS finished? Try rooting for the mariners like i do--now THERE is a team that is finished (and has been since, oh, around easter). Be positive and enjoy pujols, a future hall of famer, whether the cards win it all or not.

  9. yeah.

there bullpen is terrible and they only have 4 bench players

    there done

  10. Not even close. There is a whole bunch of baseball left to be played, and the Cards, Cubs and Brewers will be battling it out most of the rest of the year.

  11. I think so....they're not hitting or pitching well right now.  It looks like Cubs and Brewers, a 2 team race down the stretch.

  12. indeed they are

  13. Not yet.

  14. I think they are

In there last 6 games combined against the Cubs and Brewers, they are 1-5...If they cant beat the teams in their own division how can they win the division

Although fortunately for them  the Cubs and Brewers play each other in a few days so I wouldnt count them out just yet.
