Forget borrowing over 100% on anything.  It's basically an unsecured loan.  

If you need equipment, these leases are very easy to obtain.

Very, very few will even give home equity lines of credit and the requirements are incredibily strict.  Loans in excess of equity do not exist any longer.

None that I know of.  We're not even doing 2nd's anymore.  My friend that works at a credit union is still doing 2nd's, but no 3rd's and not over market value.

Why would a bank loan you money over market value?  Even in an up market the banks don't do that.

Not in this mortgage/loan market.  I know of no lenders (other than Vinnie on the street corner, who collects payments with brass knuckles) who will write for more than 100 percent of appraised value.
