Yes they are good, but prepare to pay for alot of batteries or recharging ones you decide to use.

May I suggest that you call the nearest Home Depot and ask if they have any seminars( free classes) on lighting.....they may have just electrical classes. Visit the Home Depot or Lowes and ask a representitive about lighting options besides the battery ones or could they recommend an equivalent.
