  1. yeah. Would your grandma say them?

  2. you're not cursing, they don't have a bad meaning if that is what you are asking. But I guess it is slang.

  3. yes..

  4. chillin is. hangin, not really...

  5. umm yeah

  6. yes its slang for the real term "passing time"

  7. yup...sure are....

correct grammar and English would be

    Chilling

    or

    Hanging

    NOT

    chillin

    or

    hangin

  8. yes, I think they are

  9. Slang word by definition is "informal, non-standard vocabulary"

So "hangin" and "chillin" wouldn't necessarily be slang. It is an improperly spelled word!

Good example of a slang would be "abso-*******-lutely" (emphisizing the fact that it is FOR CERTAIN) or "twisted" (meaning really messed up)

Slang is basially one word or phrase or acronym used to mean something else.

  22. Yes they're slang....people know them well and they think they are n't slang

  23. yes they are?  hanging means  To fasten from above with no support from below; suspend. To suspend or fasten so as to allow free movement at or about the point of suspension: hang a door. To cling tight to something.

chilling means   To affect with or as if with cold.

    To lower in temperature; cool.

    To make discouraged; dispirit.

Metallurgy To harden (a metallic surface) by rapid cooling.

removing the i and g and are not correct spelling, therefore they become slang.
