good question. well actually that's been a huge debate around the world. especially for those teens since they're very much curious. in my own opinion i would say yes,maybe not a human or might be a human with some other forms. the universe is huge and it's not impossible that there's no one living in the other galaxy aside from us.

In my opinion space goes on forever so there would have to be some sort of life form somewhere, not saying aliens but not saying there's not aliens. Even if they are just little bacteria somewhere.

There might be more advanced species than us but i don't belive they have "visited" earth. This is onequestion that we don't know the answer to but everyone hs an opinion about.

would it upset anything or anyone to find out that  yes, we are unique, the only life to arise among any of the myiads of stars and planets in the whole Universe?....

I've played the long odds all my life... and I'd play this one, too.... I do believe that this life here is an amazingly accidental thing.... and I know I'm pretty much alone in that thought.... but it comforts me, somehow....now, don't hurt yourself laffing.....*smile*.........

i somehow agree with you, because we are the only known living in this universe. inspite of  its size, no one can possibly tell. there are so many galaxies and planets. there is a big chance that there are also some living creatures aside from us. maybe some planets are like earth i mean its atmosphere and geologic structure. but i conclude that there are no longer humans.

If you mean other intellignet life, no one knows. It seems very unlikely that we wont at least find microbes on another planet someday.

But whether anything as unusual as us has formed on any other planets close enough that we actually get to know about them is the really big question.
