What kind of people think it OK to jail innocent people for 42 days, and just imagine the power that this law would give to power mad greedy politicians.

Does anyone trust the self serving, money grubbing, lying b******s that occupy the House of Commons these days?

  1. change yr name and religion if u r so scared.

  2. I agree with you. This goes against everything british justice is meant to stand for.

As for sevens comments...if they have evidence..they should charge them!

I think it could be a slippery slope. What they need to do is change the law on how they are charged and investigated...i dont claim to be an expert but my understanding is that once charged for a lesser crime they cannot be investigated for more serious terrorism offences. It is that ,that is ludicrous.....you wouldnt arrest a person for peadophillia, and find out he'd murdered a child but he is then immune from further charges.

I am all for keeping our streets safe and i am by no means a liberal, politically correct softy but something just doesnt sit rght for me on this one.

As for the government ..no i wouldnt trust that lot of idiots with watering my plants when i go on holiday!

  3. I wish the Backbenchers had been as passionate on the 10 pence tax issue as they are on this.

  5. What the deuce????

  6. not yet

  7. The kind of people who think it's ok are those who would get condemned for not doing anything about tip offs that ended in acts of terrorism.

  8. are you a terrorist ?

  9. What kind of people think it's ok to let 'suspected' terrorists roam free to do as they wish?

Edit: Well they must have reasonable doubt or suspicions to act, if they didn't and anything terrible happened, many could suffer. This is a serious crime to be suspected off and therefore the proof would have to be evident. We either have security measures and make mistakes, or let possible terrible crimes happen.
