I thought that with a title like that I could grab your attention. In reality the question is this....

Does my brand new computer come with built in microphone? I want to make PC to phone calls, but the other person cant hear me. I can hear them perfectly. I thought it would be a pretty basic thing that computers came equipped with, am I wrong? Do I have to go buy one of those operator headphone things?

Wrong category but i can try to answer.

Check microphone settings, or the help menu it should tell you if it has a built in microphone and if it doesn't then... YES....you need to go buy one of those head set operator thingys.
