Argh help 10points??????

why does my pc lag and freeze i reformated couple weeks ago i dont have that much stuff on my pc and it always lags and freezers and i done a virus scan so i dont have a virus i run ccleaner i restart and it goes back to normal

Check all the fans inside the computer. If you have pets, the fans will draw in the sheded hair and it will block your CPU fan causing it to overheat. I had the same problem a few years ago and it drove me crazy!

I would imagine this is your internet connection do you have wireless? Ethernet is much better connection so give that a try.

try deleting everything on your computer and putting it back on. it might be a virus...that happened to my computer

You could actually have hardware problems.  Your RAM could have a problem, Hard Drive,  Processor.  All of these would cause the same problem.  There really isn't any easy way to test these.  You would need to take them to some computer repair place to see if they can narrow down when and where the problem happens (unless you have already done that).

More about your computer probably would have helped.

if this is still happening to you, the computer freezing up your security check is not scanning the back up files on windows itself, what is your security? a solution is to reinstall windows, this will be worth it if this issue continues. do not save your work on a disk and install it after either because you may get infected again.

It's more likely spyware or adware than a virus.  Download Adaware by lavasoft and try it.

Do you use any of those illegal download sites or open your hard drive up as a share to anyone?  If you do, you're asking for trouble.
