Arm is going numb...?

i think i overplayed this gypsy jazz tune today on an acoustic guitar, now left wrist kind of hurts and arm kind of feels numb..... im not used to playing acoustically... i dont want to have permanent damage... help?

Sounds like overuse syndrome...I agree you should ice it 4 times/day and also REST, don't play until it has felt okay for a few days.
