  1. He would shoot you and get off scott free because he's immune. Call the police who police the police the FBI Citizens arrests are only allowed in a few states, in other states it's illegal (kidnapping)

  2. If the policeman is not in unifor he cah be put under citizens arrest but u should have a good reason and proof as to why u put him under arest

  3. You don't perform a "citizen's arrest" on an officer. You call his department and file a complaint.

There is a misconception regarding today's officers. The officer of today and the officer on the street years ago is not cut from the same cloth. Today, officers are more likely to get in trouble for their actions. An officer found driving under the influence is just as likely to be charged as anyone else. In fact, most officers that are investigated are turned in by other officers. The 2 most infamous cases being the D17, (17 officers from Detroit that were indicted on several charges) and 4 from Indianapolis who were charged with drug crimes. In both cases, they were turned in by their co-workers.

So the best course of action for a non-officer is to call the department and file a complaint or find another officer to make the arrest.

  4. UNDER THE PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCES, you cannot apply a citizen arrest on a police officer. Why you may ask the biggest question. Citizen arrest are only applicable to civilians or ordinary citizens just like you and me. While, an officers of the law are authorize by the government itself to arrest civilians also like you and me. IT MAYBE WISE TO CALL A POLICE OFFICERS TO ARREST A POLICE OFFICER. Why you may ask again. Because by applying a citizen arrest to a police officer is not logical in some sense, would a police officer make a crime while wearing a uniform, I THINK NOT. Do you see a police officers in uniform robbing a liquor stores? Impersonating a police officers maybe but not GENUINE COPS.

SO DON'T BE AN IDIOT. If you wanted to become an idiot try something else like jumping into your window without clothes for example. There are so many idiotic things you can do with your life but not perform a citizen arrest to a police officers. You might end up in jail for a stunt like these. Life is beautiful don't mess it up.

  5. Before you did something like that, you'd have to be absolutely sure that citizens arrests were legal in your state, that the officer was in clear violation of the law, and that there were witnesses, both to the offense and later on, to make sure that when the police arrested you for it (because they would, they take care of their own), they didn't beat you down for "resisting".

If you want to arrest someone, become a peace officer.  Otherwise, unless you have a good lawyer and a lot of money to waste, don't try performing any citizen's arrests.
