  1. I worry all the time. about stupid people tailgaiting me putting my daughter at risk, about sickos, about who she will be. am i doing everything i can do make her the best she can be???? am i chosing the best parenting style.........i think its a sign of a good parent...at least i hope it is!

  2. Just be firm, loving and consistent. No one says you'll have to be the perfect parent. Just try to remmebr what you were like as a child and be compassionate and fair.

Inforcing rules, and setting boundries, it not going to scar her! Be firm, its the best way to teach her you care. Being a softy and allowing everything does not make you a good mom, it makes a rotten child.

Remember, you are her mom and she doesn't have to LIKE you the whole time, but she needs to respect you always.

You will certainly her the dreaded " I hate you! " at some point, but thats ok.... She will understand later.

You will certanly shape them... do the best you can.

  3. Im a mom of 2 girls & I know how you feel.  Kids will learn at their own rare, etc.

  4. I think worrying is part of the job description of being a parent.  I too worry when my daughter doesnt eat how I would describe as properly, but she will have good days and not so good days and it all evens out in the end.

  5. Ironically I think this is a sign of being a good parent when you are keeping a mind of doing good for your child(ren). It seems that you are being mindful of the things you do. About the eating part don't worry so much about when she is hungry she will eat just make sure you keep healthy foods on hand. I was a totally picky eater when I was a kid & I survived though it did drive my folks nuts.
