Asterisk dial plan help?

Question

I want to use the WaitForRing command but don't know how to personalise it for a project at school. The problem is I am given this:

exten => 555,1,Answer()

exten => 555,2,WaitForRing(5)

exten => 555,3,SendDTMF(555) ,

where 555 is the phone number,....but the problem is I don't know what does SendDTMF do.....some help would be useful
