I'm going to be studying russian at MSU starting at beginner through to advanced (aprox 4 years i think)

i'm doing the year long studies whitch are 9 months long, but what do i do for the other 3 months in that year? and where do i go? i plan on going on a student visa.

but i need to stay there for the four years at least... should/can i apply for a temporary residence then permanent? i've looked around and it says you can apply for it if you are a student wishing to work in your spare time?

  1. You can easily find work in Moscow. Can work as the translator or the teacher of language.

  2. well since your studying the language maybe you should get a job that way you can increase your talking with others through the language making it a little easier when you start to study during the nine months again and then you can do so site-seeing with the money that you earned because although they say-sight seeing is free, other things like museums and movies, going on dates*if single* do cost money, and you can go to different cites, like st.petersburg,Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Sverdlovsk Oblast, and other places

  3. Try a temporary residence.

During the 3 months, enjoy Moscow. Check the area, look at the attractions. Go to St. Petersburg too.

    Have fun!
