At my School We Cant...?

Question

hug or hold hands or show public display of affection. im in middle school. and it was in the county book of rules. =( what do you think?

and i hugged someone of the opposite gender in front of the princibal and he didnt seem to care and neither did any of the teachers. ??? so whats up with that? but my homeroom teacher says we arent allowed to do any of that.

now an days, rules that separate people from showing affection is really crazy but then it protects you from the harm that may come from it. i'm sure that your Principal probably knows that you wouldn't get into any trouble at such a young age so that's why he didn't say anything. although, i wouldn't disagree with the rule. if i was a parent, i would want to know that my children aren't hugging/kissing at school - in middle school.

It's a rule that is saved for when it is really needed, like if students are getting close to "crossing the line" and are asked to stop, but they won't.

They have rules like that because it's probably the law, but they look the other way because they don't agree with the law..... If I were you, I would confine my hugging to those of the same gender to avoid problems.

well for one thing - it sucks that your principle is so close to you but she can't do anything once you're outside of school. And yeah my middle school was kinda like that and it gets pretty annoying. I guess do whatever you want - what's the worst thing that can happen?? You can't get detention for holding hands with somebody... i don't think - cuz that would be the dumbest thing ever!

DANG its da same at our skool but like the dress code we dont follow .im in middle school too but we dont give a **** bout the rules unless we get caught
