  1. You get a provisional licence at 17, and start learning, then when you have passed the test---which is getting more and more difficult----you can exchange it for a full licence.

  2. On private land there is no minimum age, I learnt to drive a tractor at the age of 8. Cars are easy after that.

  3. you can start learning around 2 weeks before you are 17.

you can apply for a driving license after you have passed your theory when you are 17.

you can drive a low powered bike or scooter at 16 years.

if you were born in after 1993 you will have to wait until you are 18 before you can obtain a drivers license as the laws are changing.

  4. 17 years old.

    From the DVLA website:

    Cars with and without trailers

Description /  Category /  Minimum age

Motor vehicles with a MAM not exceeding 3500kg having not more than eight passenger seats with a trailer up to 750kg. Combinations of towing vehicles in category B and a trailer, where the MAM of the combination does not exceed 3500kg and the MAM of the trailer does not exceed the unladen mass of the towing vehicle B

    17*

As cars, but with automatic transmission

    B

    17*

Combinations of vehicles consisting of a vehicle in category B and a trailer, where the combination does not come within category B B+E

    17

*Age 16 if you are currently getting Disability Living Allowance at the higher rate (mobility component)

Vehicles you can drive and how old you must be to drive them: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Dri...

  5. 17

  6. 17 to start learning and you can legally drive at 17 if you've passed your test. You do not have to be 18.

Only 18 if you intend to drive a vehicle over 3500kg. cars will not be this heavy, this is referring to trucks etc...

  7. At the moment it is 17.  You can get your driving licence and start taking lessons as soon as you are 17.

There is talk of it being raised to 18 years of age, but there has not been a confirmed date of this change happening as of yet.

  8. You can begin to learn when you turn 17 but you cannot get your license until 18. :)

And actually i believe if you are born in 1992 or after you have to wait until your 18.

  9. 17 is when you learn

18 is when you can start
