Atalanta airport, help please!?

I will be arriving in Atlanta on Delta Airlines from Dubai. I have to change aircraft for flight to Houston. I have roughly 1 1/2 hours before Houston flight. So my questions...

1. Will I have to claim my luggage and go through customs in Atlanta?

2. Does anyone know what terminals I will arrive/depart from? So I can get a map online.

3. Will an 1 1/2 hours be enough to go through customs?

1. most likely you wont have to get ur bags. but when u check in ask the person . are you flying from a different counry? if your just flying to atlanta from anywhere else in the US there are no customs or anything that you have to g thru.

The answers in order are...

1.  Yes, you will have to claim your bags, take them through customs, and re-check them.  Delta has a re-check facility right after customs.

2.  You will arrive on an international flight to concourse E.  Your Houston flight could depart from any of several concourses.  There is a train connecting the concourses and it's just a few minutes between them.

3.  1 1/2 hours could be enough.  It all depends on how quickly Delta gets your bags offloaded and how many other flights come in at the same time as yours.  You'll also have to re-clear security before you leave the international arrivals area.  I've misconnected with a 2-hour layover in Atlanta on an international connection before, so it's certainly possible either way.
