Atomic Clock Broken After Transformer Blew???

Question

Last night I lost power for about a half an hour after a transformer blew (It was really loud). Now my BATTERY powered atomic clock is dead and wont turn on. I tried new batteries and reseting, and it just wont turn on. Anyone got any ideas on how this happened. I know it was working fine the night before.

had the same thing happen to me in 2007 when the local electric company lost the secondry ground going to the primary on a transformer sent a spike of electicity through my home if it was plugged into the wall it was blown up so you wont be able to get your clock working again you have to replace it  thank you Quincey
