What is it about your job that is sooooo hard that when I ask for a large BLACK iced coffee, I get it with sugar in it?

It's not astrophysics! Its just food service!

  1. is it a specialty coffee? I don't know about Dunkin, but at McDonald's if come one ordered a regular iced coffee black, id make it regular- which means still putting syrup in it ( which has sugar) i just wouldn't  give them cream or sugar on the side. If the didn't wan the syrup- then they need to say " no syrup". hope this helped. If you talking about drip brewed coffee with added ice cubes- then no there shouldn't be sugar in it- her mistake, but possible it got mixed up with some other coffee:(

  2. I think black is supposed to be without cream or milk, not necessarily without sugar. I do agree that alot of food service employees don't have the best listening skills. I've been to Bruegger's Bagels, and ordered a sandwich with tomato and mayo. They would start making it, and then look up and say do you want tomatoes or mayo or anything on it. It's not worth getting too upset over, because it's just the way some people are. Yes, it is annoying though,
