Attract Highschoolers?

Question

So i am apart of a political youth organization, Ontario Young Liberals. one of the big issues has always been attracting high school students to the not-so-cool world of politics. Any ideas as to how to attract them?

We do actually have influence as to party policy, this isn't some mock for fun thing. We party, have fun, go on trips out of town and do some crazy stuff. Youth is technically 14-25 so for hte most part its university students.

Bring an issue that directly affects them directly infront of them. Tell them the importance and what they can do to make a difference.

1. Get on MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube.

2. Host movie & discussion nights that highlight an issue you are interested in.

3. Visit the high schools. Go around to their history or civics classes once a year, give them a flyer inviting them to an event and giving them your website address and something small like a piece of candy.

Well first of all you have to change the

is a great way to get into the world and

Tell them why we need politics! show them the problems we have now, wich there are alot. Something intresting like political battles and such should intrest any mind!
