1.  Most of us have a high level of expertise in one or more aspects of a specific discipline.  Within our particular area of deep knowledge, we can perceive how a small incremental change can make a huge difference in a specific potential outcome.  We can thus propose that increment as an idea to ponder and judge by others of an equal talent base.
