Audacity importing problem!?

Question

Every time I upload an audio file, I try playing and it there is only a tiny click sound. What am I doing wrong and how can I stop this??

it's windows problem not audacity, when u export it the click should not appear

This may depend on what type of file extension it has.

You might want to try getting some of the plug-ins for working with .wav files, making it more versatile.

after installing to the audacity folder 'plug-ins', open audacity, go to 'Project' > Import... > then select the folder containing the file.

Google search for the plug-in download source, look for the extension type specific to your needs.
