Australia rocks?

Question

I'm from scotland, and have just returned from a 3 week holiday in australia, the weather, sites and scenery were brilliant and the people were kind, friendly and helpfull, i look forward to returning soon, and i know its not a question but just wanted to say THANKS OZ.

I went there a couple of years ago..Ditto (that's old school for I feel the same way)

I went to Cairns Queens Land. OMG, It was the best time I had. Though it is a long trip from the U.S.

The word "ditto" comes from back in the day when copies of anything printed were made on a ditto machine. They would be purplish in color. As kids our teachers would give us homework printed on dittos.  So when someone made a copy it was called a ditto. Hence the expression "ditto". I was a kid in the 70's and 80's before Xerox was popular. Now these kids even have color copies!!!! I'm just old enough to remember the original ditto.

Great to hear that you had a good time. I hope you are able to get back here. I would like to say though that I ditto what you said about us with the experience I had in Scotland. I travelled there two years ago on my own and not only met other travellers that were awesome but found the people of Scotland to be as well. It is a truly amazing country and one day I also hope to get back there.
